Educational Achievement, Social and Emotional Development

Jacqueline has spent over 25 years as an educator. In that time, she has held positions as a teacher and administrator at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. She founded several successful charter schools and has taught at the college level. She currently holds a bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees. In addition, she has completed doctoral work at the University of Texas at Austin in educational administration focusing on executive leadership and the Superintendency.

Jacqueline’s passion is education and learning. Throughout her career she has sought to take advantage of every opportunity to continue to learn and grow in order to be able to provide the best instruction to her students, support the best instructional practices for those under her supervision, and to provide the best resources to her parents. To that end, she has spent numerous summers and countless hours extending her knowledge at various universities like Harvard, Vanderbilt, and Howard, as well as taking advantage of local courses in the areas of reading, writing, and student well-being.

Her areas of expertise include curriculum and instruction and its delivery systems, student choice management including decision-making and conflict resolution, mentoring, and backwards design planning for college and career readiness. Her services include critical thinking, organizational, and communicative strategies.
