Frequently Asked Questions

Who are the consultants?

Our consultants are experienced professionals within their specific field and hold either a Master’s degree, or higher, or are certified or licensed. Their professional careers have provided them with the expertise and knowledge needed to consult with families on an individual level. They are passionate about their work and devoted to supporting families to their full abilities.

How are consultants vetted?

We utilize a 6-point vetting process with our consultants which includes:

  • A completed application
  • A 2-hour in-person interview (an additional 2-hour on-boarding session if selected)
  • Reference checks from 2-3 references
  • Certification or license review (if applicable, not required for all consultants)
  • A background check (if applicable, not required for all consultants)
  • Acknowledgement of our confidentiality and privacy policy (with signature)

How do I know if a consultant is the best-fit for my family?

We offer a free 30-minute phone consultation with the consultant we feel would be the best-fit for your family to discuss your needs in detail. If we feel more than one consultant may be able to help, a free phone consultation with each consultant will be scheduled. Phone consultations will allow you to connect with the consultant, ask questions, and explain your needs before an in-person session to ensure you are confident and comfortable.

How many sessions do I need?

The number of sessions is determined by the consultant and client on a case by case basis, depending on the service and need of the family.

How is pricing determined?

Pricing is determine based on the years of experience of the consultants, level of degree held in their field, and whether they have certifications or are licensed. Since this varies for each consultant, our service pricing is different for each consultant and is provided upon request. For more information please visit our pricing page.

Why don’t you accept cash or checks?

The best and safest way for us to accept payment is via debit card or credit card upon completion of a session through our mobile card readers. This limits accounting errors and allows us to send you an immediate receipt for your payment.
