If your child received a diagnosis or you suspect your child may have a disability or learning difference, we can help.
We provide an overview of the special education or Section 504 process within the public school system. This includes understanding your child’s diagnosis, reading the Full Individual Evaluation (FIE) or formally requesting one from the school, understanding the Individual Education Plan (IEP) and related services process, and the other innumerable facets of the protections and services provided under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Services within this area may also include parent and child empowerment, resources for community support, guidance for understanding the diagnosis in depth, as well as your roles within the education planning process. In-depth support may include a consultant participating in the Admission, Review and Dismissal (ARD) process.
Are you searching for a tutor with experience in special education?
We provide a trusted resource for families who are seeking additional academic support outside of school resources. Tutoring is available for students in middle school with special needs or in special education. We can support your child throughout the summer with educational activities or to prepare for the upcoming school year.
